Job Overview:
The Security Pass ID Tracking Unit Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Security Pass ID Tracking Unit. This role involves managing the issuance and tracking of ID cards and passes in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The incumbent will be expected to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with security protocols, and report any irregularities in ID requests. The position requires a commitment to professionalism and adherence to the highest standards of personal appearance and conduct.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will carry out a variety of duties including assisting the Supervisor in the production of ID cards and passes, ensuring proper tracking of issued ID cards and passes, and maintaining relevant databases. Responsibilities also include filing associated production documentation, managing ID card printing materials, and reporting any irregularities in ID requests to the Supervisor. The Officer must maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions related to ID issuance, report for duty in the appropriate uniform, and ensure that all issued ID cards are accurately logged in the tracking system. The role requires strict adherence to assigned schedules and maintaining the highest standards of personal appearance as per Section directives.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in UN Security Pass and ID operations is required. Additionally, one year of progressive experience with a local, national, or private police, security, or fire brigade organization, or in a previous operational or administrative role is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of security protocols and ID management processes.
Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. This foundational education is essential for understanding the operational aspects of ID and pass management within the UN framework.
Experience:
The position requires at least one year of relevant experience in UN Security Pass and ID operations. Candidates with additional experience in security, police, or administrative roles will be viewed favorably, as this background provides valuable insights into the operational and procedural aspects of ID management.
Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Arabic is considered desirable, as it may enhance communication and operational effectiveness in the region.
