Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Full-Stack Developer include sharing the Web Team's work, participating in design and development sprints, developing and maintaining the CERN WordPress Distribution, managing and supporting CERN's WordPress websites, collaborating with designers to create user-friendly interfaces, and participating in the support of the CERN WordPress Community. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality web applications that meet the needs of CERN's diverse audience.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have experience in content management system development, particularly with WordPress, and be familiar with modern development practices. Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js, version control systems like Git, and configuration management tools is essential. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of modern web development languages including PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS (SASS), and HTML, as well as experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL and data migration techniques.   • The job reference is IR-ECO-PRD-2025-301-GRAE. Compensation includes a monthly stipend ranging from 5196 to 5716 Swiss Francs, tax-free, depending on the candidate's degree. Employees are entitled to 30 days of paid leave per year, plus an additional two weeks of annual closure. CERN provides comprehensive health insurance coverage for employees and their families, as well as a relocation package based on individual circumstances.
