Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the 'Helios+: Comprehensive actions for the integration of third-country nationals into the labour market' project in the North Aegean region of Greece. This position requires close collaboration with national and local authorities, as well as experienced partners, to promote the integration of beneficiaries of international protection and temporary protection into Greek society. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project activities aimed at enhancing employability, providing Greek language courses, vocational training, and supporting independent living through rental subsidies. The Project Coordinator will ensure the quality of services provided, monitor project activities, and facilitate communication among various stakeholders to achieve the project's objectives effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will supervise and provide guidance to direct reports, develop methodologies, create tools and materials, and oversee their implementation to ensure quality service delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring the quality of services provided by the project team and implementing partners, conducting physical verifications, and reporting to senior management. The coordinator will collaborate with other project components and IOM departments, ensuring efficient communication with implementing partners. They will collect and analyze data, submit timely reports, and represent the project in meetings with stakeholders. Additionally, the coordinator will participate in drafting reports for donors and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a combination of knowledge, education, training, and experience to perform the essential functions of the position. A strong work ethic and commitment to humanitarian principles are essential. A valid driver's license with at least five years of driving experience is considered an advantage. Computer literacy in standard software applications is required, along with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include a High School Diploma with a minimum of four years of relevant working experience, or a University degree in fields such as psychology, social work, law, sociology, social anthropology, management, business administration, or public administration from an accredited institution with at least two years of work experience. A Master's degree in the aforementioned fields will be considered an advantage. Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least two years of previous work experience, preferably in a multi-cultural environment. Experience in project management and coordination is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with integration programs for migrants and refugees.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Greek is required, both oral and written. Proficiency in additional languages such as French and Spanish is considered an asset, as IOM's official languages include these. Language proficiency will be evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Additional Notes:
This position is subject to local recruitment, and only candidates holding a valid residence and work permit for Greece will be eligible for consideration.
