They will model data for analysis and create visual representations to aid in understanding key developments in discussions with partners. Additionally, interns will contribute to the creation of presentations, infographics, and reports to strengthen UNDP's external position. They will assist in maintaining inputs into UNDP’s Client Relationship Management system and support internal capacity building by developing donor profiles and guidance notes. General duties may include performing other related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet specific academic requirements to be eligible for the internship. They should be enrolled in a graduate program, in their final year of a bachelor's degree, or have graduated within the past year. Preferred fields of study include International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, and Environmental Studies. Relevant experience in international relations, diplomacy, or development frameworks is also required, with desirable experience in data analysis and visualization, advocacy, and knowledge of SDG-related initiatives.
Educational Background:
Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate school program, in their final year of a bachelor's degree, or have graduated within the last year. The preferred fields of study include International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, and Environmental Studies. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of international development and the specific challenges faced in the Arab region.
Experience:
Relevant national or international experience in international relations, diplomacy, or development frameworks is required. Desirable experience includes data analysis and visualization, advocacy, strategic communications, and partnership building within the UN framework. Languages:

Additional Notes:
The internship is open only to Qatari nationals and residents. Interns will receive stipends according to UN rules and regulations, and any additional costs must be covered by the intern or their institution. Internships last a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months. Interns are not considered staff members and cannot represent UNDP officially. They must provide proof of health insurance and are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Selected candidates must submit various documents prior to joining, including a completed application form, CV, proof of enrollment, and medical insurance.
