This role is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for unaccompanied migrant children, who rely on these services for their well-being. The Cleaning Services Provider will work under the direct supervision of the Shelter Coordinator and will be expected to adapt to the dynamic needs of the shelter, including working during weekends and holidays as required. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a personal commitment to efficiency and flexibility.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under challenging conditions.
  • Willingness to work in morning or evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A valid driver’s license with at least five years of driving experience is considered an advantage.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a certificate of relevant professional experience or training in cleaning services. Accredited universities or institutions recognized in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database are preferred. This educational background ensures that the candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform cleaning duties effectively and safely.

Experience:
Relevant experience in cleaning services or a similar role is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a history of working in environments that require attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards. Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children, is a plus, as it indicates the candidate's ability to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism.

Languages:
Fluency in Greek is mandatory, both oral and written, as it is essential for communication within the shelter and with the children. Working knowledge of English or French is desirable, as it may facilitate communication with international staff and other stakeholders. Proficiency in these languages will be evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Additional Notes:
