Job Overview: The Senior Officer for Insights & Learning will play a crucial role in implementing the Agricultural Development (AgDev) program's learning strategy, aligning it with the Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) strategy of the program strategy team (PST). This position involves collaborating with various teams to generate, synthesize, and disseminate insights derived from rigorous research and evaluation efforts. The primary objective is to enhance decision-making processes and improve strategies, programs, policies, and practices by strengthening the learning ecosystem and expanding AgDev's evidence base. The role requires creativity and the application of innovative tools and technologies to develop actionable insights, knowledge management systems, and engaging learning experiences for the team. The position is designed for an 11-month term based in Seattle, WA, with a preference for local candidates, although remote work options are available for U.S.-based employees with regular travel to Seattle.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive knowledge-sharing strategy for AgDev, ensuring that evidence-based learnings are systematically generated and shared across various teams and partners. This includes advising on strategy hypotheses, investments, and budget decisions based on relevant evidence.
