Job Overview:
The E T Consultant position at the World Bank is a hands-on role focused on modernizing enterprise applications and driving the adoption of low-code, automation, and AI-driven solutions. The consultant will be responsible for designing data models, crafting API integrations, and delivering production-ready solutions as part of the Power Platform team. This role requires a technical leader who will architect, build, and govern enterprise-grade low-code and custom application solutions. The consultant will leverage various technologies, including Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure services, to deliver scalable and secure business solutions. The position is integral to the Digital Solutions team, which supports over 30,000 users with modern productivity and collaboration tools. The consultant will also mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across the organization, ensuring that solutions are built to last and meet the needs of stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the E T Consultant include:

• Solution Architecture & Development: Design and develop enterprise-scale solutions, establishing reusable architecture patterns across Power Platform, Azure, and custom-built applications while balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Technical Leadership: Lead technical design reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor both developers and citizen developers to enhance the quality of work across the team.
• Enterprise Data & Analytics: Design and deliver data integration solutions using Databricks, Python, ETL pipelines, and custom connectors to turn raw data into reliable, actionable outputs.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Develop and oversee complex solutions leveraging Power Platform, React, .NET, Azure Functions, and modern web technologies, ensuring end-to-end solutions are built effectively.
• Platform Strategy & Reliability: Own platform scalability, resilience, and performance, driving continuous modernization and ensuring solutions are sustainable and efficient.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role requires a strong understanding of low-code and AI technologies, as well as hands-on experience in automation and integration across various platforms. Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, effective stakeholder communication, adaptability to shifting priorities, attention to detail, and a growth orientation towards emerging technologies.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Candidates should have a strong foundation in information technology, software development, or a related discipline, with a focus on low-code and AI technologies.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for candidates with a Master's degree or at least 7 years for those with a Bachelor's degree. Experience should include hands-on work in solution architecture, data engineering, and platform governance, as well as mentoring roles in technical environments. Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions and driving the adoption of modern technologies.
