The BICES Group Executive (BGX) is a NATO entity that serves as the executive body of the BICES Group (BG). Established to facilitate the sharing and exchange of intelligence and information among NATO nations, as well as with non-NATO nations and organizations, the BGX operates under the leadership of the Director and is structured into several divisions including Intelligence and Enterprise Services (IES), Programmes, Engineering and Maintenance (PEM), Operations and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security-services" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Services (OSS), and the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Cell. Job Overview:
The primary role of the NATO ISR Planning & Execution Officer is to support and coordinate the operational planning, implementation, testing, and validation of BICES-enabled ISR and GEOINT capabilities. This position requires collaboration with BICES ISR National Representatives and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of Joint ISR objectives. The officer will be involved in the planning and execution of multinational ISR operations, providing subject matter expertise and operational advice to enhance the utilization of ISR services and systems. The role also includes maintaining awareness of ISR developments and ensuring that BICES ISR Nations are informed of relevant activities and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the NATO ISR Planning & Execution Officer include supporting BICES ISR Nations in planning and executing ISR operations, coordinating knowledge management efforts, and facilitating the exchange of operational knowledge among BICES Nations. The officer will contribute to policy development by supporting the creation of ISR Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). Additionally, the officer will manage projects related to operational ISR activities, represent the organization in various NATO meetings, and act as a key coordination point between BICES ISR Nations and NATO organizations. The officer will also provide guidance to personnel supporting BICES ISR activities and ensure effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree from a recognized institution or an Armed Forces equivalent in a relevant field such as International Security or International Relations. Essential qualifications include at least 5 years of professional experience in Joint ISR activities, extensive experience in the TCPED cycle, and familiarity with Intelligence Requirements Management & Collection Management processes. Candidates should also have experience in operational deployments supporting JISR activities, and the ability to work outside normal office hours, including travel. A level V (Advanced) proficiency in English is mandatory, while level II (Elementary) proficiency in French is desirable.

Educational Background:
A university degree in a relevant field such as International Security, International Relations, or technical degrees related to Joint ISR is required. The degree must be from an institute of recognized standing or equivalent military training.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in Joint ISR activities or related intelligence collection disciplines. Experience in both national and multinational operations, particularly within NATO contexts, is essential. The candidate should also have a proven track record in operational deployments and experience in writing specifications and designs for Intel/ISR systems.

Languages:
Proficiency in English at level V (Advanced) is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of French at level II (Elementary) is considered an advantage but is not required.

Additional Notes:
The successful applicant will be offered a definite duration contract of three years, with the possibility of renewal. The contract will be subject to the agreement of the national authority if the applicant is seconded from a NATO member state.
