Job Overview:
The International Development Fellows Program is tailored for individuals committed to a career in international development. The program offers a unique opportunity for Fellows to engage in impactful work while developing their skills in Program Management and operations. Each Fellow undergoes comprehensive hands-on training in essential areas such as project management, project Design, proposal development, monitoring and evaluation, and operations, including human resources and supply chain management. The fellowship lasts for 12 months, during which Fellows are placed in one of CRS's Country Programs, allowing them to gain practical experience and potentially build a career with CRS after the fellowship concludes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Fellow will be responsible for various key functions, including project management, project design and proposal development, and monitoring and evaluation. In project management, the Fellow will develop startup plans and budgets, facilitate workshops with partners, monitor project activities, and write donor reports. In project design, the Fellow will conduct competitive environment Mapping, write project concept notes, and coordinate proposal teams. For monitoring and evaluation, the Fellow will lead research and Analysis, coordinate Data Collection, and support the development of evaluation plans. Additionally, the Fellow will assist in operations by supporting staff recruitment, procurement, and compliance with security protocols.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a graduate degree (Master’s level or higher) in a relevant field such as Sustainable Development, Global Affairs, Development Economics, Public Administration, Agriculture, Health, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain. A minimum of two years of work experience is required, including at least six months of work or volunteer experience in a developing country. Candidates should be prepared to work in locations with infectious diseases and limited access to medical facilities.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a graduate degree at the Master’s level or higher in fields relevant to international development. This could encompass areas such as Sustainable Development, Global Affairs, Development Economics, Public Administration, Agriculture, Health, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management, ensuring that candidates have a solid foundation in the principles and practices necessary for effective program management and operations in international contexts.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two years of work experience, which must include at least six months of work or volunteer experience in a developing country. This experience is crucial for understanding the challenges and dynamics of working in international development settings, as well as for applying theoretical knowledge in practical situations.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong oral and written communication skills. Additionally, professional proficiency in a second language is preferred, particularly in major languages where CRS operates, such as French or Arabic.
