Job Overview:
The Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Publishing Team at Library For All, responsible for coordinating the production of culturally diverse and age-appropriate children's books. This position requires strong editing and production skills to ensure that educational resources are delivered efficiently to children in remote and low-income environments. The coordinator will work closely with a diverse network of creatives, including authors, illustrators, and editors, to produce high-quality manuscripts and illustrations. The role also involves collaboration with cultural advisors and funding partners to expedite the delivery of resources while maintaining quality standards. The Production Coordinator will contribute to the continuous improvement of publishing processes and workflows, ensuring that the organization meets its ambitious goals for children's education globally.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Production Coordinator will manage the end-to-end production of content assets, ensuring compliance with budgets and schedules set by both internal and external suppliers. Key responsibilities include coordinating the acquisition of content assets such as manuscripts, images, and educational resources, creating comprehensive briefs for contributors, and monitoring their compliance and delivery of assets. The coordinator will also provide timely editing, proofreading, and layout checking for various publication programs. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the evaluation of publishing outcomes and implementing improvements in processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the production pipeline.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess significant understanding of the book industry, particularly in areas such as graphic design, printing, editorial standards, and project management.
