Job Overview: The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities aimed at supporting vulnerable populations. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
Compile, summarize, analyze, and present information/data on specific project topics, highlighting noteworthy issues for consideration.
Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments as necessary.
Act as the focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation, liaising with diverse organizational units and external parties.
Draft status reports, identify shortfalls in delivery, and suggest corrective measures.
Draft correspondence on project issues and prepare various forms of documentation, including reports and briefing notes.
Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions; prepare training materials and participate in capacity-building workshops.
Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; maintain organized files and records.
Participate in meetings and conferences; maintain effective liaison with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders. 1
Monitor the work of implementing partners and report any non-compliance to the supervisor. 1

Required Qualifications:
School diploma with six years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Educational Background: The position requires a minimum of a school diploma with six years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related areas from an accredited academic institution. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in understanding the complexities of migration and human rights issues, as well as the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
