Job Overview:
The Region Corporate Relations Account Director plays a crucial role within the Western States Region of the American Heart Association. This position is responsible for managing and executing the Corporate Relations managed accounts portfolio, focusing on growth and effective project management. The director will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Corporate Relations, Western States Leadership, and both internal and external partners, to meet and exceed revenue growth goals. The role requires a strategic approach to account management, ensuring timely achievement of deliverables and fostering strong relationships with key corporate partners. The director will also be involved in cause activation campaigns, contract renewals, and overall project coordination, making this a dynamic and impactful position within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts to generate positive returns on investment and increase fundraising revenue, aiming to renew and grow accounts through balanced revenue streams.
  • Implement department tools and communication strategies to support region-wide efforts in increasing corporate sponsorships.
  • Establish effective working partnerships with Executive Directors and staff, ensuring regular communication and top-level customer service.
  • Manage cause activation campaigns for sponsors, coordinating logistics and administrative support.
  • Drive all aspects of account contract renewals, inspiring company leadership to increase their investment.
  • Coordinate assigned projects through all phases of the corporate relations processes, ensuring adherence to AHA policies and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure optimal achievement of project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate account management, sales, or marketing.
  • Proven success in managing complex projects and achieving deliverables on time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and strategies effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Experience in non-profit volunteer management, particularly in engaging high-level volunteer leadership.
  • Must have reliable transportation for local travel as needed.

Educational Background:
While specific educational requirements are not detailed, a background in business, marketing, or a related field is typically preferred for roles in corporate relations and account management.

Experience:
