Job Overview:
The Driver position at UNFPA is crucial for providing reliable and safe transportation services to high-ranking officials and visitors, as well as facilitating mobile clinic operations in the River Nile state and Khartoum. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Head of Office in Atbara, ensuring that the mobile clinic vehicles are operated safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to discretion, integrity, and a client-oriented approach, as the driver will interact with diverse individuals from various cultural backgrounds. The position not only involves driving but also maintaining the vehicle, logging trips, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Driver include: driving the mobile clinic vehicle for services in the River Nile state and Khartoum; performing daily maintenance checks on the vehicle, including oil, water, battery, brakes, and tires; conducting minor repairs and coordinating major repairs as needed; keeping the vehicle clean and well-maintained; logging official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities; adhering to safety protocols in case of accidents; and performing additional administrative or protocol-related tasks as required. The driver must ensure that all driving activities comply with UNFPA's safety and operational guidelines, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and responsibility at all times.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued by the competent government authority for driving trucks, along with a minimum of two years of work experience as a driver, preferably within an international organization, embassy, or UN system. A safe driving record is essential, as well as knowledge of local driving rules, regulations, and conditions. Candidates should also have skills in minor vehicle repairs and a strong understanding of chauffeur protocol and courtesies. A client-oriented approach, courtesy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds are critical for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position includes secondary education and a valid driving license for trucks issued by the relevant government authority. Candidates should have a solid understanding of local driving rules and regulations, as well as knowledge of the area in which they will be operating. Experience:
