Job Overview:
The Driver position at UNFPA is crucial for providing reliable and safe transportation services to high-ranking officials and visitors, as well as for the operation of mobile clinic services in the River Nile and Khartoum regions. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver will be responsible for the following duties:

• Drive mobile clinic vehicles for clinic services in the River Nile state and Khartoum.
• Perform day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, including checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, and performing minor repairs.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working order.
• Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, and greasing.
• Follow the necessary steps required by rules and regulations in case of involvement in an accident.
• Perform other protocol or administrative support tasks as required. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of mobile health services and supporting the overall mission of UNFPA.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued by the competent government authority for driving trucks. They should have a minimum of two years of work experience as a driver, preferably in an international organization, embassy, or UN system, with a proven safe driving record. Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol, local roads, and defensive driving skills is essential. Additionally, skills in minor vehicle repairs are required to ensure the vehicle's operational readiness.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position includes secondary education. Candidates must hold a valid driving license for trucks issued by the relevant government authority and have knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. Familiarity with the area where the driving will take place is also important.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least two years of work experience as a driver, with a preference for experience in international organizations, embassies, or the UN system. A safe driving record is crucial, as is knowledge of local driving conditions and regulations. Experience in performing minor vehicle repairs is also beneficial.

Languages:
