Candidates should also be able to lift and/or move large objects, with the understanding that heavier items may need to be broken down or require assistance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective oral and written communication skills are also necessary for this role.
Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in administrative support or related fields may be beneficial but are not explicitly required.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have up to 2 years of relevant experience in administrative support or a similar role. Experience in a non-profit or healthcare environment may be advantageous, but not mandatory. The ability to work independently and make decisions quickly is also valued.

- Providing administrative and technical assistance to the Executive Director, which includes coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing necessary documents.
- Supporting quarterly meetings of the Board of Directors and Leadership Development Committee, as well as monthly Executive Leadership Team meetings, by preparing agendas, presentations, and minutes, and assisting with logistical arrangements.
- Managing board-related data, including rosters, member CVs/resumes, and meeting materials, ensuring compliance with business standards and data guidelines.
- Maintaining customer, volunteer, event, and campaign information within various databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Acting as the Accounting Liaison, handling all revenue that comes into the office, including cash handling practices, mail opening, making deposits, and processing credit card donations.
- Leading financial support for the market, which includes invoicing, collections, and contract uploads, as well as monitoring and tracking expenses throughout the fiscal year.
- Serving as a backup for other support staff in event logistics, data entry, and general event support.
