Job Overview:
The Sr Digital Developer role at the American Heart Association involves designing, developing, and modifying web applications and integration software to enhance the organization's digital fundraising capabilities. Duties and Responsibilities:

They will conduct unit and integrated testing of the developed software, support user acceptance testing, and address any defects that arise. Additionally, the developer will manage incoming tickets related to defects, perform preliminary debugging, and communicate updates to customers. The role also involves clarifying and refining business requirements, providing estimations based on functional specifications, and offering project support and coordination.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development. Proficiency in technologies such as React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and Typescript is essential. Experience with ticketing systems, troubleshooting web application defects, and debugging using in-browser tools is required. Familiarity with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)/Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools is also necessary. Strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and effective problem-solving abilities are critical for success in this role.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
