Job Overview:
The Sr Digital Developer plays a crucial role in the American Heart Association by designing, developing, and modifying web applications and integration software that support digital fundraising efforts across all business units. Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties of the Sr Digital Developer include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using technologies such as React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and Typescript. The developer will be responsible for creating software artifacts based on established requirements and architectural standards. They will conduct unit and integrated testing of developed software, support user acceptance testing, and remediate any defects identified during the testing phases. Additionally, the developer will handle incoming tickets related to software defects, performing preliminary debugging and triaging issues as necessary. They will also provide estimations based on functional specifications and coordinate project support activities to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development. Proficiency in technologies such as React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and Typescript is essential. Experience with ticketing systems for troubleshooting web application defects and debugging using in-browser tools is also required. Familiarity with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)/Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools is important, as is a customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate solutions-oriented thinking and possess effective problem-solving abilities.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Experience:
