Job Overview: The position of Coordinateur/trice Grant et Partenariat involves overseeing the management of grants and partnerships to ensure the successful implementation of projects. The incumbent will be expected to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with grant requirements, and report on outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential funding sources and partnership opportunities that align with the organization's mission.
Develop and write grant proposals, ensuring they meet the requirements of funding agencies.
Manage the grant application process, including timelines, budgets, and documentation.
Establish and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support.
Monitor and evaluate project implementation to ensure compliance with grant agreements and organizational standards.
Prepare and submit timely reports to donors and stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
Provide training and support to project teams on grant management and partnership development.
Stay informed about trends in funding and partnership opportunities within the sector.
Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events related to grants and partnerships.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in grant writing and management, with a successful track record of securing funding.
Strong understanding of the grant application process and donor requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project needs and outcomes.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international development, public administration, or business management is required. A master's degree is preferred and may enhance the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in grant management, partnership development, or a related field is required. Experience working in Niger or similar contexts is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in Niger. Proficiency in English is considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's ability to engage with international partners and donors.
