Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is designed to support the UNV team in Sao Tome and Principe by creating a promotional video that showcases the impact of volunteerism in the country. The selected volunteer will be responsible for producing a 1-2 minute video that is both informative and engaging, utilizing AI tools, existing materials, photographs, videos, and relevant data. This role is fully virtual, allowing the volunteer to work remotely while collaborating with the UNV team. The volunteer will receive comprehensive guidance and design instructions during an online orientation session, ensuring they have the necessary resources to fulfill the assignment effectively. The video will be used in various meetings to promote the significance of volunteerism and its contributions to community development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the UNV team to understand the objectives and key messages to be conveyed in the promotional video.
  • Utilize AI tools and existing materials to create a compelling narrative that highlights the impact of volunteerism in Sao Tome and Principe.
  • Gather and incorporate relevant photographs, videos, and data to enhance the visual appeal and informational content of the video.

Educational Background:
