Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Individual Consultant include:
  • Conducting thorough desk research to identify and explore emerging trends in digital learning platforms (DLP) and related digital technologies and tools on both global and regional levels.
  • Compiling, reviewing, and synthesizing case studies that illustrate the application of learning analytics and the personalization of learning tools within digital learning platforms.
  • Developing a comprehensive analytical report that outlines the trends in digital learning platforms, including guidelines on how to effectively apply learning analytics and personalization strategies targeted at different stakeholders in higher education.
  • Collaborating with the Chief of the Unit of Digital Pedagogy and Learning Materials to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Providing recommendations based on research findings to enhance the effectiveness of digital learning platforms in promoting open education and digital inclusion.
  • Ensuring timely completion of all assignments and deliverables as per the project timeline.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the position include:
  • An advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in pedagogics, digital humanities, social sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in research focused on e-learning, the use of digital technology in education, digital pedagogy, or related fields.
