Job Overview:
The internship program at the American Heart Association provides college students with hands-on experience in a non-profit environment, specifically in the areas of event planning and community engagement. Proficiency in social media platforms and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required, along with basic knowledge of Canva. Interns must have reliable WiFi and transportation, and be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week during standard business hours.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be pursuing a degree in relevant fields such as business, communications, public relations, nonprofit fundraising, or event management.
