Duties and Responsibilities: The Development Director will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including:
Recruitment and cultivation of school volunteers for K-12 partnerships with the AHA.
Developing and executing plans to meet revenue and volunteer recruitment goals, including securing sponsorships and donations.
Managing accounts and promoting the AHA cause within existing and potential school accounts.
Implementing life-saving initiatives and programs in schools.
Recruiting, training, and developing volunteers at various levels within the schools.
Establishing and maintaining excellent customer service relations with school contacts.
Attending all mandated meetings and trainings.
Engaging in summer cultivation activities with school administrators.
Daily travel to visit 5-10 schools, requiring reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess a university or college degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for those with at least three years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or a similar field. Excellent marketing, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential. The ability to analyze and forecast sales data, along with strong written and oral communication skills, is required.
