Job Overview:
The Operations Manager in the Department of Health Equity at the American Heart Association plays a crucial role in overseeing and prioritizing departmental administrative and operational services. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: overseeing and leading departmental operations such as finance and procurement; managing relationships with legal, external vendors, and partners; preparing and distributing monthly financial reports and variance analyses; collecting and analyzing data to generate insightful reports and dashboards; developing and maintaining reporting systems and databases; collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements; preparing presentation materials; providing recommendations based on data analysis; training and supporting team members on systems and processes; creating marketing materials and plans; performing marketing activities for assigned regions and products; and attending marketing events to support product promotion. The role may also involve additional duties as assigned, requiring adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Operations Manager position must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience. A minimum of three years of experience in business operations, including data and budget management, is required. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Experience in marketing, communications, or promotional campaign development is also essential. Candidates must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of budgeting and reporting processes, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
