Job Overview:
The Global Framework Change and Marketing Leader at Ashoka will be responsible for leading initiatives that shift societal mindsets towards recognizing and fostering changemaker qualities. This role involves developing a storytelling framework that highlights the importance of youth and citizen agency, as well as leading marketing efforts that align with Ashoka's vision. The leader will engage with movement partners to advance initiatives like 'Lead Young' and 'Everyone a Changemaker', ensuring that Ashoka's narrative is effectively communicated and resonates with both internal teams and external partners. The position requires a deep understanding of how to create and sustain movement marketing strategies that can influence societal norms and behaviors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a regional/global storytelling framework that encourages sharing impactful stories demonstrating the shift towards youth and citizen agency.
  • Lead movement marketing efforts to build cohesive strategies with partners to advance framework change initiatives.
  • Ensure that Ashoka's narrative aligns with its vision and empowers both internal teams and external partners.
  • Launch and nurture media strategies that align with Ashoka’s framework, cultivating relationships with key influencers, media, and publishers.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with aligned actors to raise awareness of Ashoka and its vision.
  • Help build Ashoka's global marketing and communications capacity within a team-oriented structure.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the following skills:
  • Ability to create a strategic movement marketing communications architecture.
  • Proven track record in establishing strong media relationships.
  • Experience in identifying partnership opportunities that align with Ashoka's mission.
  • Capability to enhance Ashoka's global marketing and communications capacity within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial spirit, with a history of taking initiative and ownership in previous roles.
