Job Overview: The internship at the ECLAC Library in Santiago is expected to last between 4 to 6 months, depending on the office's needs. Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period based on these needs. Under the general supervision of the Head of the Library, the intern will work on various multimedia and outreach initiatives. The role involves producing and editing visual content, assisting in video recording, managing multimedia files, collaborating on creative projects, and editing videos according to project briefs. The intern will also be responsible for optimizing videos for different platforms and making adjustments based on feedback from the team or clients. Duties and Responsibilities:
Production and editing of visual content: Create and edit videos and graphics for social media platforms, websites, and other digital channels.

Multimedia file management: Organize and maintain a file of videos, images, and other multimedia resources efficiently.
Collaboration on creative projects: Work alongside the creative team to develop innovative and engaging visual concepts.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Relevant fields of study include Audiovisual Communication, Graphic Design, Communication Sciences, Film or Media Production, Digital Media, Information Technology (with a focus on multimedia), marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Digital Marketing and Advertising, Information Architecture or Library Science (with a focus on technology), Art and Multimedia, and Multimedia Engineering. No prior experience is required for this internship.
Educational Background: Candidates should have a background in fields related to multimedia production, such as Audiovisual Communication, Graphic Design, Communication Sciences, Film or Media Production, Digital Media, Information Technology with a multimedia focus, Digital Marketing and Advertising, Information Architecture, Library Science with a technology focus, Art and Multimedia, or Multimedia Engineering. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, or candidates should be enrolled in a graduate program or the final year of their undergraduate studies.
