Job Overview:
The Region Senior Development Consultant plays a crucial role in the SouthWest region, focusing on consulting development staff who lead major fundraising campaigns such as Heart Challenge, Heart Ball, and Go Red for Women. This position is primarily home-office based, with a preference for candidates located in the SouthWest states, including Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Region Senior Development Consultant include serving as a liaison and subject matter expert in fundraising strategies, supporting the tracking and reporting of campaign revenue, advising on the planning and execution of development campaigns, conducting strategy meetings with assigned markets, providing regular follow-up to ensure adherence to timelines, and facilitating collaboration across departments. The consultant will also monitor campaign revenue, analyze reports to identify trends, train new staff on best practices, manage customer and campaign information, and ensure timely communication with internal and external partners. Additionally, the consultant will influence volunteer engagement and develop strategies to enhance fundraising efforts across the region.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably within a nonprofit organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and candidates should be able to travel within the SouthWest region and to the National Center approximately 30% of the time. Preferred skills include the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority, a proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns, and knowledge of corporate and community networks.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position, and equivalent experience may be considered. The educational background should ideally be related to fundraising, nonprofit management, or a similar field that supports the responsibilities of the role.

Experience:
