Job Overview:
The Region Senior Development Consultant plays a crucial role in the SouthWest region, providing consulting services to development staff leading major fundraising campaigns such as Heart Challenge, Heart Ball, and Go Red for Women. This position is primarily home-office based, with a preference for candidates located in the SouthWest states including Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Region Senior Development Consultant include serving as a liaison and subject matter expert in fundraising strategies, conducting strategy meetings with assigned markets, providing coaching and guidance to staff, monitoring campaign revenue, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The consultant will also support the planning and execution of development campaigns, facilitate collaboration across departments, and influence volunteer engagement in event planning. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position, with equivalent experience also being acceptable. The educational background should ideally be related to fundraising, nonprofit management, or a similar field that supports the responsibilities of the role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in nonprofit organizations. Experience in leading successful fundraising campaigns and managing donor relationships is highly valued.
