Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Region Senior Development Consultant include serving as a liaison and subject matter expert in fundraising strategies, conducting strategy meetings with assigned markets, providing regular follow-up and support, advising on the planning and execution of development campaigns, and ensuring adherence to national and regional policies. The consultant will also monitor campaign revenue, analyze reports to identify trends, develop and train staff, and manage customer and campaign information. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably within a nonprofit organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and candidates should be able to travel within the SouthWest region and to the National Center approximately 30% of the time. Preferred skills include the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority, a proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns, and knowledge of corporate and community networks.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position, and equivalent experience may be considered. The educational background should ideally be related to fundraising, nonprofit management, or a similar field that supports the responsibilities of the role.

Experience:
The position requires at least 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in nonprofit organizations. Experience in leading successful fundraising campaigns and managing volunteer engagement is highly valued.
