Job Overview:
The M&E and Reporting Assistant position is under the supervision of the Protection Coordinator and the M&E & Reporting Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing various data-related tasks, which include assisting in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities. The role requires the candidate to draft reports, create presentations, and perform data analysis. The assistant will also be responsible for verifying source documents and ensuring that all reporting sources are received monthly. The position involves utilizing data management software to compile and analyze data, developing reporting systems to track protection unit activities, and supporting the team in creating MS Power BI reports and dashboards. The assistant will contribute to the analysis of program progress and help maintain financial and administrative documentation in SharePoint. Overall, the role is crucial for ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of the program's indicators and activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the M&E & Reporting Assistant in drafting reports and presentations.
  • Verify source documents and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update the matrix of results and progress of the Program's indicators.
  • Utilize data management software for data compilation and analysis.
  • Develop and implement reporting systems for tracking protection unit activities.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with teams on internal and external referrals.
  • Support the development of MS Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Contribute to the analysis and reporting of program progress, identifying good practices and lessons learned.
  • Maintain e-filing of financial and administrative documents in SharePoint. 1
  • Assist in developing monitoring mechanisms and tools for oversight and accountability. 1
  • Support internal and external evaluations of the Program. 1
  • Carry out administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Reporting, Information Management, and M&E.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Educational Background:
A relevant degree in a field related to Monitoring and Evaluation, Information Management, or a similar discipline is preferred. Specific educational qualifications may vary depending on the organization's requirements.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Reporting, Information Management, and Monitoring & Evaluation. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in similar roles, demonstrating their ability to handle data analysis and reporting tasks effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Knowledge of French is considered an advantage, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate in a multilingual environment.
