Job Overview: The Program Implementation Manager for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Registry. This position is pivotal in site recruitment, consultation, and project management, ensuring that participating sites are effectively engaged and supported. The manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hospitals and health systems, providing quality improvement consultation, and facilitating educational opportunities. The role requires a proactive approach to project management, with a focus on achieving program goals and delivering excellent service to participating sites. The manager will work closely with clinical teams and leadership, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills. This position is home-based, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on achieving project deliverables and supporting clinical care improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the recruitment and management of sites participating in the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Registry, ensuring alignment with program goals.
Serve as the main account manager for recruited sites, providing onboarding and ongoing consultation on evidence-based metrics.
Facilitate the use of interoperability between originating source data and the registry.
Conduct data monitoring activities to ensure quality and completeness of registry data, addressing inconsistencies promptly.
Develop and deliver targeted education and training materials for sites and programs.
Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders, including hospitals, healthcare systems, and quality improvement organizations.
Communicate regularly with project leadership to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Support the development of research infrastructure for future clinical trials and implementation science.
Analyze and present results from trainings and data evaluations to inform program improvements. 1
Create and update marketing materials as needed, assisting with website maintenance and other marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, public health, or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in program/project management, with a proven ability to influence performance without direct accountability.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, particularly in clinical settings.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 10% for local and overnight stays.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position. A Master’s degree is preferred, particularly for candidates with a focus on health concerns related to cardiovascular disease or acute care.
Experience: Candidates should have between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in healthcare settings or public health organizations. Experience with clinical registries, patient registries, or quality improvement programs is highly desirable. Proven project management experience is essential, along with a track record of successful relationship management and communication with clinical leadership.
