Job Overview:
The Program Consultant Healthcare Quality – Post Acute Stroke position is a vital role within the American Heart Association, focusing on the implementation of quality improvement programs specifically designed for patients with cardiovascular disease in South Dakota. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Program Consultant include driving the implementation of quality improvement projects that align with the American Heart Association's guidelines for treating cardiovascular disease. The consultant will provide consultation and support through learning cohorts, develop program implementation strategies, and serve as the primary contact for hospitals and clinics. Responsibilities also include facilitating meetings, developing clinical decision support tools, recruiting program participants, and managing project documentation such as budgets and timelines. The consultant will communicate regularly with senior management to ensure tasks are completed according to grant timelines and will work with cross-functional teams to meet grant deliverables.
