Job Overview:
The position of Référent(e) Communication Terrain is crucial within the Development and Communication Department of Solidarités International. The individual will report to the Head of the Communication Service and will be responsible for managing part of the content production for the communication service. This role involves supporting communication actions for missions in alignment with the organization's communication plan and adopting a multichannel approach. The Référent(e) will work closely with geographic directors and the communication team to identify relevant topics, participate in editorial meetings, and act as the primary contact for missions to gather and relay information from the field. The position also entails overseeing the production of multimedia content, including photos, videos, and testimonials, and may require travel to field locations to gather material.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Production of field content for the communication service: Collaborate with missions and geographic directors to identify topics, participate in editorial conferences, and serve as the main contact for missions to collect and relay field information. Manage the pre-production and production of multimedia content, including briefing and supervising service providers (videographers, photographers, editors), organizing field visits, managing budgets, and maintaining a photographic and video database. 2) Pre-production of the series 'De Vos Propres Yeux': Responsible for the successful realization of the series, including theme identification, field scouting, storyboarding, and scenario writing. Collaborate with production agencies during filming and oversee production budgets. 3) Support missions in their communication actions: Act as the focal point for missions to assist in their communication strategies, optimize budget lines, identify synergies between headquarters and missions, and ensure project follow-up and final validation. 4) Crisis communication: Participate in crisis communication during humanitarian emergencies. The Référent(e) may need to travel regularly to the field based on needs.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest in international news and have excellent skills in photography and video production, including shooting and post-processing, as well as editing. Proficiency in desktop publishing (PAO) tools and editing software such as Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro is essential. The candidate should also have strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a diplomatic approach, analytical and synthesis skills, and a high level of organization. A good team spirit, initiative-taking ability, and project management skills are also important.
Educational Background:
A minimum educational requirement of a Bac+5 degree in journalism or communication is necessary for this position. This advanced degree should provide the candidate with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to excel in the role.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally with at least one experience in the humanitarian sector. This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to handle communication tasks effectively in challenging environments.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with bilingual proficiency preferred. The ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms is crucial for this role.
Additional Notes:
The position is a fixed-term contract (CDD) for 6.5 months, intended to replace maternity leave. The job is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy, with field travel required. There is an option for remote work, allowing for 4 to 12 days of telecommuting per month, in accordance with the current telework charter and manager approval. The gross monthly salary ranges from 3,183 to 3,316 euros, depending on the salary scale. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 days of paid leave per month and 1 day of RTT for each complete month worked. The organization provides a mutual insurance plan covering 80%, meal vouchers covering 60%, and transportation costs covering 50%. Additionally, recovery days and full medical coverage during field travel are provided.
