Job Overview:
As the Sr. Product Manager, Fundraising, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the American Heart Association's fundraising products, particularly focusing on the American School Engagement program, which includes initiatives like Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge. This position requires a strategic leader who will define the product vision and strategy for digital platform capabilities associated with these programs. You will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, and maintaining a product roadmap that spans 12 to 36 months, collaborating with delivery teams, stakeholders, and leadership to guide strategic decisions and investment prioritization. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams to innovate, develop, and launch digital experiences that align with the organization's goals and market needs. You will also lead the product lifecycle management approach, ensuring successful launches and user adoption while driving ongoing enhancements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership for Product Strategy and Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with fundraising program objectives. Set goals, define success metrics, and motivate teams across business, technology, and vendor domains. Conduct market research and customer feedback analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Drive innovation by exploring new product ideas and enhancements.
  • Product Planning and Roadmapping: Work with cross-functional teams to create and prioritize product roadmaps, ensuring designs incorporate customer feedback and testing. Define and manage product requirements, user stories, and feature backlogs. Make data-driven decisions to prioritize features based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Product Development and Launch: Coordinate with fundraising and technology teams to oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance. Manage successful product launches, including change management and training. Partner with stakeholders on funding processes and budget management.
  • Performance Tracking and Analytics: Define KPIs to measure product success and monitor performance post-launch. Analyze data and user feedback to iterate on product features and optimize user experience.
  • Customer Focus and Relationship Building: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs through direct interactions and feedback analysis. Cultivate relationships with key volunteers and stakeholders to validate product direction.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to drive product decisions.

Educational Background:
