Responsibilities
The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Professional Education Manager, 365 Education in our National Center office located in Dallas, Texas .
In this role, you will manage all activities necessary for developing, implementing, and maintaining current and new Continuing Professional Education independent medical education programs.
*Due to the current pandemic, travel is minimal and voluntary to ensure the health and safety of staff. There is no overnight travel currently. In the future, this position may resume daily/overnight travel. All staff are currently working from home. In the future, this position will resume being based in the local office.*Essential Job Duties:
Mange the development of educational program content for 365 Education in collaboration of science volunteer committees. Establish trusted communication with volunteers to anticipate needs and ensure alignment with AHA Science Operations business objectives.
Manage revenue and budget for established portfolio while identifying potential cost savings and revenue goals.
Management of project timelines, deadline compliance and effective communication and dissemination of both.
Manage the entire program using speaker management/abstract management software.
Works collaboratively with team to ensure logistics, marketing and council objectives are also met. This includes providing insight into conference logistics, marketing tactic development and execution and execution of council initiatives at conferences.

High School Diploma with some college or training in a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience/knowledge of the principles and practices of program management.
Experience in producing program materials.
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow, establish and meet critical deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to travel overnight approx. 10% of the time.
