Responsibilities The American Heart Association (AHA) has an exciting opportunity for Temporary Project Coordinator in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support for the needs of Scientific Sessions 2021 the International Stroke Conference 2022. This is a full time, benefits eligible, temporary opportunity that will last approx. 9 months. Current funding is through 3/2022. Essential Job Duties:
  • Spreadsheet updates, file uploads, weekly reports and tracking, manage email replies
  • Assist with invoice processing, collateral inventory, budget reconciliations.
  • Assist with conference slides as needed, conference packing, professional credential research, conference reception logistics, coordination with outside vendors, inter-departmental logistics and communications.

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months (6 mo's) administrative and/or project coordination experience.
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office programs, typing and filing.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects from beginning to end, simultaneously without supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, be flexible in scheduling tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills, including those needed in writing, editing, and interacting by telephone and in meetings.
