  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs, to align efforts and maximize impact.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on the progress of the projects and share insights with the VSO team and partners.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and practices, particularly in the context of youth and women-led enterprises.
  • Experience in capacity building and training delivery, with a focus on entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the local economic landscape and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in Tanzania.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in challenging environments.

Educational Background:
A degree in business administration, economics, social sciences, or a related field is required. Additional qualifications in entrepreneurship, sustainable development, or project management would be advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, entrepreneurship support, or a related field is required. Experience working with youth and women-led enterprises is highly desirable. Familiarity with the local context in Tanzania and previous experience in international development or volunteer organizations would be beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Swahili or other local languages would be an advantage, as it would facilitate better communication with local communities and stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
This position is a volunteer role, and while an allowance will be provided to cover reasonable living expenses, it may not be sufficient to send money home.
