Job Overview: This internship provides a unique opportunity for young professionals to gain first-hand experience in a dynamic international team. Interns will support the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (UNRCO) with programmatic work, research, and data analysis. They will contribute to strategic partnerships and innovative development finance solutions that support the acceleration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national priorities. Interns will report to the RCO Head of Office and may have opportunities to learn about the work of other UN entities, enhancing their understanding of international development and cooperation.
Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will engage in various tasks, including mapping and analyzing key stakeholders such as government, donors, private sector, civil society, and youth. They will assist in preparing financial analyses, donor profiles, and resource mobilization briefs to support the implementation of the 2024-2028 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework. Additionally, interns will help maintain a legislative intelligence tracker on priority legislative-executive bills, contribute to organizing partnership platforms and workshops, and assist in drafting actionable documentation from meetings. They will also support knowledge management by preparing briefing notes, background papers, and case studies on successful partnership and finance initiatives, while maintaining the UN Philippines SharePoint repository for partnership and finance resources.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be Filipino citizens and have graduated from a degree program in public administration, diplomacy and international affairs, development studies, international relations, statistics, data science, or related fields. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are essential. Some prior work experience would be advantageous, as it would enhance the intern's ability to contribute effectively to the team.

Experience: While prior work experience is not mandatory, having some relevant experience would be beneficial. Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino are mandatory for this position. Proficiency in these languages is crucial for effective communication within the UNRCO and with external stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This internship is a full-time, unpaid opportunity, requiring interns to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expected duration of the internship is from 12 October 2026 to 12 December 202
