Job Overview: The Test Coordinator position at EUROCONTROL involves a multifaceted role within the Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre's Engineering Division. Duties and Responsibilities: The Test Coordinator will be responsible for a comprehensive set of duties, including:
Planning and executing integration and system-level tests for assigned baselines.
Monitoring system performance and documenting incidents and bugs, escalating issues as necessary.
Installing, configuring, and integrating system components on test platforms.
Collaborating with teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Assessing the impact of changes and managing version control.
Supporting the planning and execution of system updates and releases.
Assisting in configuring, testing, and deploying system updates and migrations.
Gathering technical and functional requirements and contributing to specifications.
Providing specialized technical support to software providers. 1

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a post-secondary education that meets the EQF Level 5 or higher, accompanied by at least five years of relevant experience in integration and system-level testing of complex systems. Familiarity with test processes, defect tracking, and release management is essential. A solid understanding of Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems and operational environments is required, along with knowledge of system architectures and automation tools. Candidates should also demonstrate technical drafting skills in English and possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Additional Notes: The position is classified as an Assistant role at levels AST4-AST6, with a duration of five years, subject to renewal or conversion under specific conditions. The selected candidate will be required to undergo a probationary period of nine months before being established in the post. The working arrangement follows a hybrid model, allowing for a combination of onsite presence and teleworking opportunities, with specific guidelines on teleworking days.
