Job Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for coordinating and performing a comprehensive range of human resources support functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, transparency, and consistency of data and processes within the HR domain. The incumbent contributes significantly to the smooth functioning of human resources operations, ensuring that all HR activities align with organizational goals. The position requires a proactive approach to managing HR tasks, including personnel actions, employee entitlements, and benefits, while maintaining a high standard of service delivery. The Human Resources Assistant operates independently, making decisions on work priorities and addressing unique cases, while also providing guidance to other HR support staff. This role is essential for fostering effective working relationships within the HR team and across various departments, ensuring that all staff receive the necessary support and information regarding their employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Assistant will coordinate support services related to the employment and service of staff and the mobile workforce. Key responsibilities include initiating a range of personnel actions such as appointments, extensions, and transfers. The incumbent will analyze and process complex human resources requests related to entitlements and benefits, support the briefing and de-briefing of staff, and provide information regarding staff entitlements and contract specifics. Additionally, the role involves communicating with applicants, preparing offers and terms of employment, and maintaining confidential personnel information and records. The Human Resources Assistant will also investigate and resolve payment inquiries in collaboration with finance staff, prepare payment instructions, and train other HR support staff. Participation in the preparation and delivery of training materials for administrative staff is also expected, along with performing other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a secondary school education and have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work. A working knowledge of English at proficiency level C is mandatory, along with very good knowledge of MS Office applications and office technology equipment. The role requires candidates to be nationals of Hungary or possess a valid visa or work permit, residing within commuting distance of the duty station at the time of application.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a secondary school education. This foundational education is essential for understanding the administrative and human resources functions that the role entails, providing the necessary background to perform effectively in a support capacity within the HR team.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work. Languages:
