Job Overview:
The position of Graphic Design for CAP Maps and Infographics at IOM Rwanda involves supporting the design and enhancement of the Community Action Plan (CAP) publication. The final product must be delivered in both PDF and editable formats, with a preference for InDesign or Illustrator, although Word is acceptable.
- Developing or refining maps and spatial graphics, which includes redesigning existing maps to improve readability, color coding, legends, and labeling. The volunteer will also create new simplified maps as needed, providing outputs in PNG and vector formats for future use.
- Creating clear and attractive infographics and visual summaries that visually summarize key CAP content, such as SWOT analysis, strategic issues and priorities, and community contributions. These infographics will be used in the publication and as standalone communication pieces. The deliverables will include a professionally designed Community Action Plan Publication (30–40 pages), at least 6 redesigned maps, a set of 8–10 infographics, and a graphic assets pack containing icons, color palettes, and typographic choices.
