Job Overview:
The position of Communications Consultant for the EU Donor Visibility Campaign involves serving as the Project Lead for a significant visibility campaign aimed at raising awareness about the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. The consultant will coordinate all aspects of the campaign, including development, production, installation, launch, and digital amplification. This role requires acting as the central liaison among various stakeholders, including WFP offices in Brussels and Afghanistan, creative agencies, photographers, EU/ECHO counterparts, and local authorities in the host cities. The consultant is expected to ensure that the campaign is delivered on time, within budget, and adheres to WFP and EU visibility guidelines while maintaining high standards of creativity and operational quality. The campaign will focus on a public exhibition in two European capitals, supported by a geo-targeted digital campaign to enhance reach and engagement with European audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: A. Project Management & Coordination: Planning the campaign and developing a detailed workplan, timeline, and budget; coordinating all stakeholders involved in the campaign; leading weekly coordination meetings; managing procurement processes related to creative agencies and production vendors; ensuring compliance with WFP visibility and branding standards. B. Creative & Content Development: Supporting the agency in developing the creative concept and narrative framework; coordinating story selection with WFP Afghanistan; overseeing field content collection; reviewing and validating all creative outputs. C. Exhibition Production & Installation: Coordinating venue identification, permits, and approvals; overseeing production logistics; managing installation logistics to ensure compliance with branding requirements. D. Launch & Public Engagement: Planning and coordinating launch events, including media engagement; preparing briefing notes and scripts for representatives; supporting on-site coordination during launch days. E. Digital Campaign Coordination: Collaborating with the agency to develop a geo-targeted digital campaign; validating digital assets and messaging; monitoring campaign performance. F. Reporting & Documentation: Producing regular progress updates; drafting a final campaign report; ensuring proper archiving of all materials. Deliverables include a detailed campaign workplan, approved creative concepts, successful installation and launch of exhibitions, and a final campaign report.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Communications, International Relations, Humanitarian Studies, or a related field. They should have the ability to travel within the EU without visa restrictions. A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in campaign management, exhibition production, creative coordination, or humanitarian communication for the UN is required. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale donor visibility campaigns, including planning and delivering exhibitions and related activities, is essential. Candidates should also have proven experience managing multi-stakeholder projects with external agencies and a strong understanding of humanitarian principles and ethical storytelling.

Educational Background:
