Job Overview: The Project Management Officer will play a crucial role in the Energy and Sustainable Business (ESB) program, which aims to accelerate Indonesia's transition to a low-carbon economy while supporting economic development. This hybrid position requires the officer to work in the Jakarta office for 8 days a month, with the remainder of the work being flexible. The officer will be responsible for day-to-day project management and delivery support for the MENTARI Investment Support Strand, which focuses on improving project readiness and bankability for renewable energy initiatives. The role involves maintaining delivery discipline across workplans, technical assistance assignments, procurement documentation, and project records. The officer will also coordinate administrative processes and ensure that activities are well documented and delivered on schedule, contributing to the overall success of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Project Management Officer will have a variety of responsibilities including: assisting in maintaining the Investment Support workplan, action tracker, decision register, and project calendar; supporting weekly portfolio and delivery reviews; coordinating internal and external follow-ups to keep project activities on track; scheduling and coordinating technical meetings and consultations; preparing drafts and administrative sections of procurement documents; maintaining an up-to-date tracker of technical assistance assignments and procurement status; ensuring administrative completeness of consultant submissions; maintaining structured electronic project files; supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly program reporting inputs; coordinating communications with stakeholders; and escalating any issues related to project delivery promptly.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, economics, finance, public administration, international relations, engineering, environmental studies, or a related field. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in project coordination, program administration, consulting support, or related fields is required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential. Experience in developing procurement documentation, consultant administration, and project filing is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams/SharePoint, is necessary, along with the ability to prepare clear meeting notes and professional correspondence in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
