Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the UNV Lao PDR Communications Team, the Online Volunteers will be responsible for the following tasks: - Translate social media posts, public information messages, and communication materials from English into Lao; - Ensure that translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and written in clear and engaging Lao language; - Maintain consistency in terminology, messaging, and communication style across all translated content; - Review translated materials for quality, readability, and alignment with communication objectives; - Submit completed translations according to the agreed schedule. The selected Online Volunteers will receive source materials, communication guidance, and relevant reference materials as required. Through this assignment, Online Volunteers will contribute to improving the accessibility and reach of UN communications among Lao-speaking audiences.
