Responsibilities encompass warehouse management, assisting with customs clearance processes, drafting exemption requests, and providing updates on the status of supply requests. The incumbent will maintain accurate records of supply activities, prepare purchase requests, and assist in the preparation of quotation requests and tenders. Additionally, the Supply Assistant will produce bid-tabulations, dispatch approved purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries. The role also involves generating asset management reports, assessing vendor capabilities, and maintaining relevant databases. In the regional context, the Supply Assistant will track global Supply KPIs, monitor periodic supply exercises, and assist in the management of the MSRP. In country operations, the incumbent will ensure effective local liaison for supply activities and manage the storage of goods according to best practices and UNHCR regulations.
