Job Overview:
The GBV Programme Analyst position is crucial for supporting the Federal Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in Sudan. This role involves providing technical and administrative support to promote gender equality and prevent gender-based violence (GBV). The analyst will assist in coordinating policies and activities related to women's protection and empowerment, draft relevant strategies, and monitor protection risks affecting women and girls. Duties and Responsibilities:
The GBV Programme Analyst will undertake a variety of tasks, including:

• Providing technical and administrative support to the Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, assisting in the coordination of policies and meetings related to gender equality and GBV prevention.
• Drafting policies, strategies, and decisions, and organizing strategic meetings and events.
• Monitoring protection risks and emerging issues affecting women and girls, providing concise analysis and recommendations.
• Preparing briefing notes and analytical updates on gender equality developments.
• Serving as the focal point for communication with national and international partners.
• Managing the program and budget for GBV activities, ensuring alignment with humanitarian principles.
• Coordinating support for GBV response actors and building institutional capacity among government and partners.
• Promoting accountability and prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation across initiatives.
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
