Job Overview:
The position of Lead Training Facilitator involves working under the guidance of the UNFPA Programme Analyst on Sexual and Reproductive Health and in collaboration with the Kazakhstan Association on Sexual and Reproductive Health (KMPA). The primary responsibility is to develop, co-facilitate, and evaluate a comprehensive 4-day training program aimed at enhancing national and regional capacities in family planning service organization. This training will incorporate the latest global updates on modern contraceptive methods and include specialized sessions on evidence-based Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC), clinical decision-making, and counseling techniques tailored for diverse patient groups. The facilitator will prepare interactive training materials and formulate assessment tools to measure participants' knowledge gain, thereby addressing the critical gap in specialized training for healthcare providers in Kazakhstan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of Training Curriculum and Materials: The Lead Training Facilitator will be responsible for creating a comprehensive 4-day training program that strengthens national and regional capacities in family planning service organization. This includes preparing interactive training materials such as presentations, clinical case studies, and practical exercises that cover overall family planning management and modern contraceptive methods, with a focus on LARC application skills. Additionally, the facilitator will formulate pre- and post-training assessment tools to evaluate the knowledge gain of participants.
• Training Facilitation: The facilitator will co-facilitate a 4-day in-person workshop in Astana for 40 regional healthcare specialists, conducting practical exercises and clinical decision-making sessions that adhere to international standards.
• Evaluation and Reporting: The facilitator will administer and analyze pre- and post-training assessment results, drafting and submitting a final narrative report in Russian that outlines training outcomes, key findings, and strategic recommendations for enhancing LARC competencies in Kazakhstan.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Medicine (MD) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, along with at least a Master’s degree (MSc, MPH) or higher (PhD/Doctorate). Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of clinical practice as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, extensive experience in LARC procedures with a verified history of performing at least 500 LARC insertions and removals, and a proven track record of conducting at least 20 national or regional educational workshops or seminars. Experience in developing and conducting Training of Trainers programs, involvement in the development of national clinical protocols, and expertise in modern simulation-based training techniques are also required. Active membership in international professional societies or possession of recognized international certification in Family Planning/Reproductive Health is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of international evidence-based guidelines.

Educational Background:

Experience:
