Duties and Responsibilities:
The Visiting Professional will be responsible for a range of duties under the supervision of the Senior Legal Adviser or designated staff members. Key responsibilities include conducting extensive legal research and analysis, contributing to the preparation and drafting of complex legal documents such as legal submissions, correspondence, memoranda, opinions, and briefs. The individual will also assist in providing legal advice to the Registrar and client sections, negotiate contracts and agreements, prepare summaries and updates on legal and factual issues, and monitor judicial proceedings. Additionally, the Visiting Professional will support the development of operational frameworks for legal service delivery, including managing workflows, processes, and databases. The role may also involve performing other duties as assigned by the supervising staff.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in law, with a strong knowledge of public international law, international criminal law, contract law, or (international) administrative law relevant to the work of the RLO. An advanced university degree is considered a strong asset. Candidates should have a very good academic record and demonstrate excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills. Adaptability to multicultural environments and strong teamwork abilities are essential, along with proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.

Educational Background:
A university degree in law is mandatory for this position. Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of various legal fields, particularly those relevant to the ICC's operations. An advanced degree in law is highly desirable and will enhance a candidate's application. Academic performance should reflect a strong commitment to legal studies and a deep understanding of international law principles.

Experience:
Candidates must have at least three years of relevant full-time professional experience in legal practice or related fields. Languages:
