Duties and Responsibilities: The IT Service Assistant Intern will have a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: assisting with first-line technology support for courtrooms and meetings, handling service requests and incidents, and aiming to resolve these at the first point of contact. The intern will also assist with the installation, support, and troubleshooting of various software packages used by the ICC. Additionally, the intern will help with the delivery of new end-user equipment and maintain asset inventory. The creation of documentation related to IT processes and support for IT-related projects will also be part of the intern's duties. Data entry tasks, including inputting and updating information, will be required, along with other IT-related tasks that provide opportunities for learning in various fields of expertise.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, preferably in Computer Science. Experience with Windows operating systems is preferred. All candidates should have a strong academic record and be either graduates or in the final stages of their studies at a recognized university. While practical experience is not a strict requirement, any relevant experience that aligns with the work of the Court may be considered an asset. Applicants must have less than three years of relevant full-time professional experience to qualify for the internship.
