Job Overview:
The selected volunteer will play a crucial role in generating written content that effectively communicates the key messages of ACT Alliance. This position involves creating clear and consistent narratives for both external audiences on platforms like LinkedIn and for internal communication among member forums. The volunteer will be responsible for drafting and editing various written materials, ensuring that they align with the organization's guidelines and needs. This role is vital for maintaining the organization's communication strategy and enhancing its outreach efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The volunteer will undertake several specific tasks, including:

• Drafting Content: Create written materials such as posts, newsletters, press releases, and other documents according to the organization's guidelines and monthly calendar.
• Collaborating with the Communications Consultant: Work closely with the communications consultant to provide key messages and inputs that support the design and development of content in line with the organization's objectives.
• Reviewing and Editing Texts: Ensure the quality of written content by correcting style, spelling, and coherence, maintaining consistency in the organization's communication tone. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the organization's standards in all written communications.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with communication strategies and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are essential. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate a commitment to the values and mission of ACT Alliance, showcasing an understanding of the importance of clear and impactful communication in humanitarian and development contexts.

Educational Background:
