Job Overview:
UNHCR Bulgaria is seeking an Online Volunteer to create two short animated explainer videos that will present key information about the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. The focus will be on the rights of asylum-seekers and refugees during the asylum procedure, as well as addressing the needs of individuals with temporary protection. The purpose of these videos is to convey legal and procedural information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner for individuals seeking international protection. The organization will provide the necessary script, legal content, key messages, branding guidance, and any relevant visual materials, while the volunteer will be responsible for transforming this information into engaging animations that are easy to understand for a broad audience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected Online Volunteer will be tasked with several key responsibilities:

• Develop a storyboard or visual concept based on the content provided by UNHCR Bulgaria for the two separate videos.
• Produce two separate videos, either as 2D animated explainer videos or motion graphics videos, each approximately 2–4 minutes in length.
• Create clear and accessible visualizations of legal and procedural information according to the provided script and guidance from UNHCR.
• Incorporate feedback from the UNHCR Bulgaria team throughout the production process to ensure the videos meet the organization's standards and expectations.
• Deliver two final videos in high-quality and web-compatible formats, ensuring that they are suitable for online distribution.
• Where possible, provide editable project files to facilitate future modifications or updates.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong background in animation or video production, with a proven ability to create engaging and informative content. Familiarity with legal and procedural information related to asylum and refugee rights is highly desirable. The volunteer should also demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with the UNHCR team and incorporating feedback throughout the production process.

Educational Background:
Candidates should ideally have a degree or equivalent experience in animation, graphic design, multimedia production, or a related field. Experience:
While specific years of experience may not be required, candidates should have demonstrable experience in creating animated videos or motion graphics. Languages:
The primary language for the videos will be English.
